2023 Salary Survey 

The 2023 TCG Salary Survey has now been published and is available to everyone in aggregate form here. 

If you're a TCG Member Theatre and participated in the 2023 Salary Survey, you may access the full report with budget breakdowns or request specialized reports by emailing Rachael Hip-Flores and Corinna Schulenburg. Please note that only TCG Member Theaters who have completed the survey may access the full report with budget breakdowns or request specialized reports. 

TCG has been conducting the TCG Salary Survey for 27 years. For the first 24 editions, the survey was only accessible to the theatre managers who completed it. That changed with the TCG 2020 Salary Survey, after a group of theatre leaders who had been working through the #WeSeeYouWAT Demands called on TCG to publicly release the aggregate data. To honor their labor in completing the survey, participating theatres continue to have unique access to specialized reports. We hope the Salary Survey helps everyone in the field—from those making hiring decisions to job-seekers—make informed decisions about compensation.

2022 Salary Survey

After a hiatus in 2021 due to the pandemic, we’re pleased to launch the 2022 TCG Salary Survey. TCG has conducted a Salary Survey for 26 years, providing fieldwide context to managing and artistic leaders in planning, budgeting, and making critical personnel decisions. Since 2020, we've made the aggregate data publicly available to support equity for job seekers, as well.
