Fieldwide Programming Makes Space for Community and Growth

Our Theatre Leader Connectedness (TLC) Calls and TCG Circle Community Groups offer Artistic and Managing Leaders at TCG Member Theatres regular, peer-facilitated opportunities to share space virtually with colleagues leading institutions with similar budget sizes. These spaces allow leaders to connect and share insights and resources and build community. These calls also offer regular Advocacy Updates with our Director of Advocacy, Laurie Baskin, as well as opportunities to hold each other accountable as we strive towards a just and thriving theatre ecology. 

Our TCG Circle Community Groups for Finance Directors, Development Directors, Marketing Directors, Education Directors, and other Theatre Member staff allow for vital peer-to-peer connection as well as knowledge and resource sharing.

Research Provides Essential Management and Planning Tools

TCG works in Washington, DC and nationally in coalition with various stakeholders and arts advocates throughout the theatre and performing arts sectors to represent the theatre field and to provide timely information to theatres and theatre artists on federal legislation, regulations and other significant government opportunities and issues. Free and Discounted TCG Memberships for Trustees and Staff Keep You Connected

TCG offers each Member Theatre 2 complimentary memberships to the Trustee Leadership Network for 2 of the theatre’s current board members or trustees. TCG recognizes the need for trustee education and engagement, and provides unique opportunities for trustees to learn about and engage with the work of transformation in regular, peer-facilitated spaces and forums.

Staff at Member Theatres can purchase discounted Individual Memberships while also enjoying all the benefits of the organization’s membership. 

All Member Theatre staff will be automatically included on regular TCG communications such as AT Weekly, New@TCG, Action Alerts, Teresa’s Weekly Briefing, and more.

Grants and Other Opportunities Resource the Field

TCG Books TCG Member Theatre staff receive a 30% discount on TCG Books and titles from other select theatre publishers. A 40% bulk discount is available when purchasing 10 or more of the same title. Member Theatre staff can access Members Only content and communities on the TCG Circle. The TCG Circle is an online platform to connect theatre people with the resources and relationships you need to strengthen your work. It combines the best of listservs, social media, and knowledge-sharing into a single, easy-to-use online platform. You can use the Circle to engage with private and public groups across shared personal and professional identities. The Circle has a library of resources that are continually updated by TCG and your peers.
